Summer Aquacise
Classes will be held in 2
week sessions (Mon, Wed and Fri) and taught by Barb Sawler. You
must register and pay for the entire 2 week session with Yvonne Clarke,
the Aquatics Supervisor. There must be at least 10 registered in
order to run each two week session. Drop ins will be accepted if
the session runs.

Aquacise
Pumping
music, sociable surroundings and an alternative way to work all the
muscles in the body, is making Aquacise an appealing option for the
growing numbers of people who are participating in the classes. It is
one of only a few sports that can be undertaken by anyone, regardless of
height, weight, build, size, gender or age.
Aquacise offers aerobic,
flexibility, and toning exercises for adults. Instructors can help you
increase or decrease the intensity of your movements to suit your needs.
Most classes consist of a warm-up, aerobic section, range of movement
and toning section, and stretching. Swim skills not required!
Daytime will
start again in the middle of
September
Cost
For $39.25 HST included,
Rec Card holders can purchase an Aquacise Card containing 10 classes
or
Rec Card Holders can pay
the drop-in rate of $4.50 per class (HST included)
or
Non Rec Card Holders must
pay the facility drop-in fee (5.25) in addition to the $4.50 Aquacise drop-in
fee.
